When we design a home remodeling project, we go beyond showing you two-dimensional floor plans and blueprints. Using specialty software, we present a three-dimensional, to-scale view of the space – including realistic room details such as furniture and appliances – so you have an exact representation of what the finished room will look like.

You will almost feel as if you are standing in the space. Here is where we have fun. Don’t like white cabinets? We change them to blue. Don’t like hardwood floors? We change them to bamboo. Want another window? We rearrange the wall. We can change the design to whatever you like. When Dovetail and our client do this together, the client knows the design is accurate, we agree on what the finished product will be, and surprises down the road are eliminated.

The company did a major renovation with paneling and cabinetry in our house. The work was impeccable. Jonathan Scholl is a true craftsman and professional. He played an integral role in the design of the project and had excellent design suggestions. Everything he did was well documented and photographed, which was important because we were not living in the area during the undertaking of the project. We hired Dovetail to rehab our outdated kitchen in our 1924 era stone house. This was a challenging job since the new design had to fit in limited space and use some existing cabinet boxes. Jon and the whole team at Dovetail Group have been fantastic to work with. We spent over a year designing our project, which included a whole house remodel, as well as an addition. We were always impressed with Jon’s approach to design…more focused on how we live and use the space and solving problems that we had with the “old” house. Jon Scholl and the Dovetail group did a very nice job remodeling two of my bathrooms. The molding around the room, aligning the soffit with the die walls for the shower was difficult and well done. The design of the vanity was very well done. In the end, the finished project looks very much the way I envisioned it on paper and in pictures and that is a testament to Jon’s work.
